Awards Ceremonies Honoring Ethel and Robert Kennedy
Kahu Wendell Silva serves as officiant blessing the celebration ceremonies and award banquet honoring Ethel Kennedy and Robert Kennedy, Jr. at the Hilton Hawaiian Village's Tapa Ballroom.

The two distinguished honorees are recipients of the 1999 Naito Award, named after Dr. Jushichiro Naito, famous in Japan as the "God of Child Care" and who is as highly regarded as the Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu.

Previous award recipients have included Mother Teresa, British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and Nancy Reagan.

Tarzan Gets A Heavenly Lift
Kahu Wendell Silva caught sight of "Monkey Boy" as he called himself, swinging through the trees in He`eia, Windward Oahu , after praying for good luck and great weather for the cast and crew filming a Jeep commercial. Earlier, Silva blessed another crew for the filming of commercial in the area in Kualoa Ranch where Jurrasic Park was filmed.
